Brief Profile :Bindiya Naik is currently working as Associate Dean at the School of Liberal Arts, Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil University, Pune, with over 16 years of combined academic and corporate experience. She holds a Bachelor’s and master’s degree in economics from Goa University and an MBA in HR and Marketing and is currently pursuing her doctoral research at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Recognized for her dedication to innovative teaching, she has been honoured with the institution’s President’s Fellowships for Teaching Excellence 2023. Her extensive teaching portfolio includes courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Managerial and Engineering Economics, Behavioural Economics, Media Economics, and Economic Policy for Sustainable Development, emphasizing the entrepreneurial mindset. Additionally, she has worked in client servicing, business development, and facilitation of executive training programs. Beyond academia, Prof. Bindiya is a passionate trainer in public speaking, personality development, employability skills, entrepreneurship, and leadership. She actively promotes experiential and immersive learning through workshops, field projects, simulations, storytelling, debates, and community engagement initiatives.
